Brief Biography

Isidora Fićović graduated from the painting department at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade (2001, 2007). Through the completed master studies at the Interface Cultures in Linz, Austria (2016), expanded her artistic and creative work into interactive art and interdisciplinary understanding of the work itself. Visiting student at IAMAS (Institute of Advanced Media Arts and Sciences) in Ogaki, Japan (2015/2016), Erasmus exchange at Bilgi University (Visual Communication Design department, VCD) to Istanbul (2013/2014). Since 2001 exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions and festivals in Serbia, Austria, Turkey, Italy, the US, Denmark, Switzerland, England, Germany, Slovenia, Sweden, Japan and so on. The organizer of international exhibitions and workshops “Back to Now” in U10 Gallery in Belgrade (2017), Border Disorder serial of workshops/exhibitions in Belgrade SKC and Ozon Galleries, in Kraljevo in Maržik Gallery, in Istanbul in DEPO (2005, 2007, 2009 ). Winner of the Award of the Rotary Club for the painting (2012) and the first prize at the video festival in Velenje, Slovenia (2005). She exhibited at the Ars Electronica festival in Linz POST CITY(2015) and TOTAL RECALL (2013). PhD diploma at the Faculty of Fine Arts (2021).
